Spring on the Farm
Come see us!
Cuddle a bunny, see baby chicks, pet a goat, snuggle a piglet, learn to milk a goat, see where our animals live, and find out what they eat! The cost is $12 per person. Click here to register.
You will experience so many fun activities, all of which are included in the ticket price except food and farm store products! Here is a sample schedule for a day at the farm:
9:30-12:30
Plant a Flower: Here kids get to get busy digging in the dirt and helping Jake plant my flower garden. Choose a seedling and a trowel and try your hand at planting a baby plant.
Bouquet Arranging: A station where kids choose their own vase and blooms to learn how to create a mini arrangement of their very own! We will use blooms we grow here on the farm!
Feed Mixing: Our animals here have special grain and seed mixes that we feed them, help us prepare animals meals by following different species recipes scooping the different feed types into feed bags, labeling with animal stickers and loading up our dinner feed buckets!
Silo: The silo is full of Poultry learning! (Chickens, Quail, Turkeys, and Ducks) See how they are the same and how they are different. Hold their eggs and see the size difference. Snuggle baby chickens and ducklings. And hopefully watch chicks hatch in the incubator!
Milking Station: See how I hand milk a goat and try it for yourself! We have some sweet and patient goat ladies to help you learn.
Coffee bar: Coffee Bar. Nuff said! Sugar, homemade whipping cream and goats milk for garnish. Have it served in a cute paper cup or in a custom made Edens Lilly Enamel mug! Chocolate Milk Pints made with agave and dark chocolate for the kids. Cheese and crackers to snack on!
Egg Games! Egg toss and relays are fun for all ages, even the parents competed for their chance to win goats milk soap last year!!
Store: Visit our farm store to see all the products we produce and view our cheese and milk rooms.
Petting Zoo: We will have bunnies, piglets, chickens and baby goats to snuggle with.
Picnic and a Craft-We have farm tables set-up for you to bring a bagged breakfast or lunch. All along the tables, we have cute bunny craft sets for your little to play with when they are ready to sit and play. Feed and snuggle baby animals www.twobytwopettingzoo.com
